ADAEZE IGWE-YOBO
Adaeze Chineye Igwe born 1990, the former beauty queen and wife of footballer, Joseph Yobo. Adaeze Yobo (born Adaeze Stephanie Chinenye Igwe) is a former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, and step-daughter of former football player John Fashanu
Formerly a student at the University of Abuja, Adaeze pursued her childhood dream by representing Anambra in the pageant with 29 other girls. Like Ann Suinner before her, Yobo's project is Sickle cell awareness; she also used her reign as a platform to showcase Nigerian talent. Apart from winning five million naira, a Hyundai car, and endorsement deals, Awka-Etiti-native Adaeze Igwe represented Nigeria at Miss World 2008 in South Africa. She made the top twenty in Miss World Talent, and placed second in Miss World Sports.
During her reign, she established her own charity The Adaeze Igwe Foundation, an organisation which promotes AIDS and Breast Cancer awareness, and raises funds towards similar causes, including malaria and tuberclosis. Its mission was "to create and increase access and opportunities to Nigerian youths and communities towards addressing their needs and challenges in relation to health and sustainable development." She has since left the University of Abuja to start a Communications course at the New York Film Academy.
In 2010, Adaeze Igwe married Fenerbahçe S.K. player Super Eagle Joseph Yobo in a midnight ceremony held in Jos after a brief courtship, and are now parents of their first child - a son.In 2011, Adaeze Yobo was ranked 92 in a list of 101 Sexiest Soccer Wives and Girlfriends,
Modelling to her is beyond career its a passion that she grew with and grew with her. "I think it has been in me. I used to love watching the runaway on TV. If you had asked me to choose between schooling and modelling then, I would have chosen modelling. Before now, I had never done anything on the runway. But I did a couple of adverts. I was in Abuja and called my sister in Lagos, because she had been following it (MGBN) up for me. I asked if they had started selling the forms and she said yes. So, I sent the money to Lagos and she got the form for me. I filled it in Abuja and came back to Lagos to submit it.I knew all the queens and I watched the pageant every year. In fact, I was ready for it two years before it came. So, once I was of age, I was very ready for it. I prayed about it and went in that direction. Everybody was in support, including my church," She Said.
Unknown to many, ex-beauty queen, Adaeze Igwe-Yobo shares a lot of things in common with her mother.
First is their love for early marriage and secondly their passion for footballers. Just like her mother, Adaeze got married to her husband, Joseph Yobo on the new year eve, 2010 at the age of 19. Adaeze marriage to Joseph Yobo, a football player is blessed with a boy, Joey who recently celebrated his first birthday in Turkey amidst friends and family.
Soon after settling down in marriage, it dawned on observers that she was following her mum’s footstep who also got married quite early to Adaeze’s father, though the marriage has since packed up.
Recently, the news broke of Adaeze’s mum’s engagement to celebrated ex- Nigerian soccer star, John Fashanu who recently took her as new wife. She has since adapted his name and is now being addressed as Abigail Fashanu.
The question now is, what’s with Adaeze and her mum with footballers. And from the look of things, they seem to have found great happiness with these two great footballers.
We are happy for you.

A BEAUTY WITH BRAIN
Our Second Model's name is Ibiagbanidokibubo Asenite Darego. Hmmm......such a long beautiful name for the cynosure of all eyes.
Agbani Darego for short, was chosen to represent our country at the “Face of Africa” contest. She won and proceeded on by participating in the “Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria” contest. She finished as a runner-up. She later competed in the Miss Universe Pageant. She was 19 years old when she won the Miss World 2001 competition. She was the first ever Nigerian and black African to do so. At that time she was a computer student at the University of Port Hartcourt.
Agbani Darego born on 22 December 1982 is our Nigerian model, best internationally known as the first Black African Miss World.
Darego hails from Abonnema, Rivers, and was born into a family of eight children. At ten, Darego was sent to boarding school in a bid to shield her from her mother who had breast cancer. Darego's mother died two years later, and her daughter has spoken of how the loss prepared her for the future. As a teenager, Darego longed to be a model, and despite her conservative father's wishes, she auditioned for the M-Net Face of Africa modelling competition, but was not chosen as a finalist.
As a model, Darego appeared in print adverts for boutique chain Collectables.
Darego achieved greater success when she won Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in 2001. Contrary to popular belief, Darego did not replace Valerie Peterside after the latter was dethroned - Peterside had won Miss Nigeria. Darego managed to divide her time between her official duties with her education at the University of Port Harcourt where she was studying Computer Science, and she represented Nigeria in the 2001 Miss Universe competition, held in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She placed among the top 10 semi-finalists, finishing seventh. She was the only black semi-finalist that year and the only finalist to wear a maillot as opposed to the more popular bikini.
In November 2001, Darego was crowned Miss World, becoming the first native Sub-Saharan African to claim the title (Although past winners, such as Penelope Coelen and Anneline Kriel, are South African (which is part of the Sub-Sahara), they are of European decsent, and Antigone Costanda, who represented Egypt in 1954 is of Greek heritage). Her victory in the pageant was widely welcomed in her home country, and her one year tenure included goodwill trips and scheduled appearances on behalf of the pageant.
Darego was honoured as an Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) after her win as Miss World in 2001. The Nigerian National honours are awarded to Nigerians who have rendered services to the benefit of the nation.
During her reign, she visited a number of countries which included the United Kingdom, South Africa, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, the United States, Germany, Italy, China, Spain and France.
Due to her busy work schedule, Darego left the University of Port Harcourt after she won Miss World, she Studied Psychology at the New York University and graduated in May 20011.Formerly with Next Model Management, she is currently signed to Ford Models in New York. In 2002-2004 she was a spokesperson for L'Oréal cosmetics and is now promoting Arik Airlines.
In 2006, Darego participated in Catwalk the World - Fashion for Food, a global campaign organised by the United Nations World Food Programme which included a fashion show. A photograph which showed her topless during her runway walk was printed in Nigerian newspapers and caused national outrage, with members of the public accusing her of "debasing womanhood and serving as a bad role model to young women" Darego denies that the photograph was intentional. She told an interviewer in 2011: "My body is not for sale, so I can’t pose nude for any amount. I remember the topless pose you are talking about. That question has always been asked me and my answer is the same. It wasn’t perfect. It was just a dress malfunction and that’s what it was...I would never deliberately put myself in such an awkward position."
Thus, she was brought into the global view and enjoyed a successful career as a model including doing major campaigns for L’Oréal and other global brands.
She re-enrolled in school at the New York University and has managed to balance her career with her studies and and May 2012,graduated with a degree in Psychology
I am really happy for you girl

So sit tight and lets appreciate our beauties
Our first model is Super model Oluchi Onweagba, our Nigeria Palm tree. Tall beautiful, strong and pride of of our nation
Oluchi's first name in her native Igbo language means "God's Work". Her father was a civil servant, and her mother was a nurse. Oluchi Onweagba was born on 1st August, 1980.She and her siblings (two brothers and a sister) lived in Ayilara Street, Ojuelegba, in Surulere, a low-income area of the sprawling Lagos (the Nigerian commercial capital) metropolis. She spent her high school years as a good student, and enjoyed playing tennis and ping pong. To make her story one of rags to riches, it is often reported that to make ends meet, she sometimes sold bread on the streets of the city.
The quote above refers to, of course, Oluchi's reaction at the first sight of her newborn baby boy, Ugo whom she mothered with Italian Fahion designer and husband Luca Orlandi.
Oluchi started off her modeling career when she was urged by a family friend to enter into the M-Net Face of Africa preliminary screening at the M-Net office in Victoria Island, Lagos which she scaled through. The agency immediately groomed her to be one of Nigeria's entrants for a model competition, the M-Net Face of Africa (now called the Nokia Face of Africa); this despite the fact that, growing up, she had maintained a relative ignorance towards fashion and modeling. With the support of her family and friends, she decided to compete in the inaugural edition of the Face of Africa in 1998. This was the first-ever continent-wide model competition, as opposed to a mere beauty pageant, and was organized by the South African subscription television channel M-Net in collaboration with Elite Model Management. With her slim, tall but tantalizingly bodacious figure and her natural beauty, she captivated the judges, and she handily won the competition. She was just seventeen years old. Elite Model Management awarded Onweagba a three-year modeling contract, and a whirlwind life as a highly-sought-after fashion model began.
Upon moving to New York City she began to make an impact. Onweagba graced the covers of Italian Vogue, i-D, ELLE, Untold, and Surface, and she also was featured in Nylon, Marie Claire, Allure, and other national editions of Vogue around the world. She also became the face of the campaigns for Gianfranco Ferré, Victoria's Secret, Gap, Express, Banana Republic, and Ann Taylor. Onweagba's runway experience has been with John Galliano, Christian Dior, Costume National, Chanel, and Giorgio Armani, amongst others, in London, Milan, Tokyo and Paris. She has worked with such high-caliber photographers as Steven Meisel, Nick Kight, and Patrick Demarchelier.
As her career took off, she did not forget her roots and attempted to give back to society. As one of the most high profile international models of Nigerian origin, she tries to serve as a role model for other aspiring talents in the west African country, especially young girls. She volunteers her time and her image for such NGOs as LEAP Africa (an entrepreneurship incubator) and NIPRO. She also is continuing her higher education, having studied for an associate's degree in the New York City educational system.
After her three-year contract with Elite expired, she signed with DNA Model Management. She was also signed up to be one of Victoria's Secret "angels," making her the first model of Nigerian descent to achieve this status. A highlight of her career so far was when she was featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue four times, from 2005 to 2008
Wheehz! Girl we really proud of you.

BENEFITS OF BODY MASSAGE
Benefits of Massage Therapy for a Healthy Lifestyle There are many benefits of massage, depending on the type of massage in question. From massage therapy to deep tissue massage to a relaxing day at a spa, massages can make a significant difference in your life. General Benefits of Massage It’s no secret that massages are incredibly therapeutic. Many research studies have been performed on this subject, most of which have concluded that massages can drastically reduce pain and improve an individual’s ability to cope with pain. Many physical therapists employ massage therapy in order to aid in the healing process. Regular massages have alleviated the pain experienced by sufferers of hypertension and back pain in just three short sessions per week. Frequent massages can lower a person’s blood pressure and help build up the immune system, making it more difficult to become sick in the future. Deep Tissue Massage This particular type of therapy helps to heal injuries, and as such, athletes tend to prefer this method. It is most often used to treat acute or chronic muscle pains, since this technique requires a massage therapist to work into your muscles much more deeply than an average massage would warrant. The benefits to deep tissue massages are indisputable; masseuses trained in this style of massage will quickly get to the root of a problem and can even restore function to those with mental health problems such as anxiety and clinical depression. Other Beneficial Types of Massage Perhaps one of the more intriguing varieties is the Hot Stone Massage which also offers unique benefits. This practice, originating with Native American, uses smooth rocks warmed by the fireside and then placed on the body where they will exert consistent pressure and help to relax tight muscles. The benefits of hot stone massage include the relaxation of tight, sore muscles. Shiatsu is another form of massage which relies on pressure points Acupuncture helps an individual regain balance in their personal lives, both physically and spiritually. Reflexology, which is often applied through foot massages, can help to relieve aching feet by activating certain pressure points in the foot. Getting Started With Massage No matter what type of massage you choose to pursue, it is doubtful that you will be disappointed; the benefits to massage are plentiful. From relaxation and mental health to physical pain and conditions, massage therapy improves and enhances your life Massage a good escape means out of stress is beneficial to the human body klurbauer.hubpages.com
